The Cleveland Browns took center stage on Tuesday night with the debut of a documentary series, “NFL Road Tested: The Cleveland Browns,” on the Travel Channel.

The five-part series provides an inside look at the organization and how it prepares for a game throughout the week, including the coordination of getting a traveling party of nearly 150 people to an opposing city to play a game.

“I did watch the show and I thought it was pretty good,” mlb baseball jerseyssaid running backTrent Richardson. “They did a lot of stuff on us and it said a lot of good, positive things. It said a lot about our owner, how positive he is, how he wants the team to head in the right direction.”

Cameras followed the team’s new owner, Jimmy Haslam, as he greeted Browns fans, as well as players throughout the week, both at the facility and at home. At the Berea facility, viewers saw how the staff gets the footballs, pads and jerseys prepared for practice and games, as well as how the grounds crew handled stormy weather at the stadium when Hurricane Sandy affected the conditions.

Also, viewers got a chance to watch as two of http://www.mlbnfljerseyssupply.comthe team’s rookies, quarterbackBrandon Weeden and Richardson, sat courtside at a Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game and met with their owner, Dan Gilbert. They also got to follow along on kicker Phil Dawson’s family dinner, which included a fellow University of Texas product, quarterback Colt McCoy.

“For us, to just look at the show from the outside, not just to be in the show, but to look at it as fans, it’s big to us to see people talk about us in a positive way even though our season hasn’t been what we wanted it to be,” Richardson said.

Coach Pat Shurmur previewed the show and said “it was very well done.” He said he was particularly happy with the fact that his players were not distracted by the additional attention while they prepared for a game.

“I think what that show shows you is there’s a lot of very talented, hard-working people behind the scenes that help make this thing go,” Shurmur said. “I hope that’s what folks take away from the episodes that they watch.

“My biggest concern when there’s cameras around is, number one, it doesn’t become a distraction to the process, which of course, I saw they were very professional and that wasn’t the case, and of course, any kind of a leaking of competitive advantage, which I don’t think is the case. For the most part, I thought it revealed a lot of hard-working people behind the scenes that do a lot of work. I think that’s a good thing.”
